The award-winning Contex large format scanners product line enables consumers and businesses to convert their engineering drawings, maps, and photographs into electronic formats. From flatbed devices that have a scanning area of 18”x24”, to large sheet-fed devices that will take drawings up to 54” wide by any length, DDS can offer you the right device for your particular need. HD 5450: 54” Color Scanner- This 54” scanner is designed for the highest resolution and speed. The HD Series of scanning equipment are the top of the line models which utilize a multiple camera system.
SD Series: 44” Scanners- These 44” scanners are considered the “value-priced” scanners. The SD Series of scanning equipment utilizes an LED image capture technology.
HD Series: 42” Color Scanners- These 42” scanners are part of the HD Series of scanners, which utilize a multiple camera system.
HD Series: 36” Color Scanners- These 36” scanners are part of the HD Series of scanners, which utilize a multiple camera system.
XD 2490: 24” Color Scanner- A 24-inch sheet-feed wide-format scanner, built on the LED technology, that is easy to use and at an affordable price.

Large Format Scanner Software
Digital Data Services, Inc. offers several software packages for the scanning of documents in your large format scanning device, as well as the conversion of the data from raster to vector for use in CAD and GIS Systems. More Information
Scanner Operating Software:
NextImage and NextImage Scan+Copy- You can copy, print, email, edit, and scan with Nextimage multi-function wide format software. NextImage brings all of your imaging tasks into one user-friendly interface, creating the perfect link between your scanner, digital storage, existing applications, and your printers.
Raster to Vector Software:
WiseImage PRO- WiseImage Pro contains the same features as WiseImage, but included is the ability to automatically vectorize scanned drawings to CAD files one by one or in a batch mode. This conversion feature allows precise tuning to achieve the most accurate vector representation of the source files.
ArcScan for ArcGIS- ArcScan is an extension to ArcGIS (ArcView) which provides a comprehensive, efficient, and easy-to-use set of tools for raster-to-vector conversion. Users can significantly minimize postprocessing work by using the automatic vectorization capabilities within ArcScan to create vector features from the entire image or by interactively vectorizing selected areas.
