All of the HD 36 Series scanners have 600 DPI true (optical) resolution.
HD 3650: 36” Color Scanner-The HD 3650 is the fastest of all of the HD 36 Series scanners. The HD 3650 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed in color at 400 DPI is 3 inches per second for the PLUS model, and 1.5 inches per second for the BASE model.
HD 3630: 36” Color Scanner- The HD 3630 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed in color at 400 DPI is 1 inch per second for the PLUS model, and .6 inches per second for the BASE model.
