HD Series: 42” Scanners

Digital Data Services, Inc. (DDS) offers the HD Series of scanners through our partnership with Contex- the world's largest developer and producer of large format imaging solutions. The HD Series of scanning equipment are the top of the line models which utilize a multiple camera system, resulting in high quality and high resolution images.

All of the HD 42 Series scanners have 600 DPI true (optical) resolution.

HD 4250: 42” Color Scanner-The HD 4250 is the fastest of all of the HD 42 Series scanners. The HD 4250 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed in color at 400 DPI is 3 inches per second for the PLUS model, and 1.5 inches per second for the BASE model.

HD 4230i: 42” Color Scanner-The HD 4230i supports USB 2.0 and LAN interface options. It scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed in color at 400 DPI is 1 inch per second for the PLUS model, and .6 inches per second for the BASE model.

HD 4230: 42” Color Scanner- The HD 4230 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed in color at 400 DPI is 1 inch per second for the PLUS model, and .6 inches per second for the BASE model.
