SD Series: 44” Color Scanners

Digital Data Services, Inc. (DDS) offers the SD Series of scanners through our partnership with Contex- the world's largest developer and producer of large format imaging solutions. If you’ve ever hesitated to buy a professional large format scanner because you knew you didn’t need its advanced features, yet found low-end scanners lacking in both quality and user-friendliness, our SD Series is just what you need.
The Contex SD Series scanners are an easy and affordable solution to scan technical documents, maps and drawings. Based on the high-end technology in the HD Series but redefined for tasks that do not require high-end specs, the SD Series brings speed, image quality and ease of use to in-house scanning tasks– all at an excellent value.

All of the SD Series scanners scan at a true (optical) resolution of 1200 DPI (9600 maximum DPI).

SD 4490: 44” Color Scanner-The SD 4490 is the fastest of all of the SD Series scanners. The SD 4490 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed at 400 DPI is 3 inches per second (color), 10 inches per second (black & white/grayscale).

SD 4450: 44” Color Scanner-The SD 4450 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed at 400 DPI is 1.5 inches per second (color), 10 inches per second (black & white/grayscale).

SD 4430: 44” Color Scanner- The SD 4430 scans documents in color, black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed at 400 DPI is 1 inch per second (color), 5 inches per second (black & white/grayscale).

SD 4410: 44” Monochrome Scanner- The SD 4410 scans documents in black & white or grayscale. Scanner speed at 400 DPI is 10 inches per second.
