Our beautiful, custom, shaded relief topographic maps start with color scanning the most current
USGS paper map at 400 DPI, georeferencing the map, and applying
hill-shade to the image using up-to-date Digital Elevation Models. All of our 3-D maps are custom generated for you, at your specified resolution and your specified map projection. And for only
$125 per map, you receive BOTH the custom color scan and the
hill-shade version of your map, georeferenced and ready to go into your GIS application!

Need an inexpensive alternative for hill-shaded USGS topo maps?
DDS offers the DRG-SHADETM product, which is derived
from Digital Raster Graphics (DRGs). DDS uses the most current DRG
available and applies the hill-shade effects to the image.
The resulting image is a hill-shade representation of the USGS
DRG! The data can be delivered with or without the collars.
Client can specify any map projection for delivery. Three scales
of DRG-SHADETM are available; 1:24,000, 1:100,000
and 1:250,000.
