"Cast Off for
Catalina"- 3D Clips
|

In
the summer of 2005, DDS, Inc. was tasked to create 11- 1 to 5 second
movie clips for insertion into a video directed by Mark
Ritts and Ted Fields. Mark and Ted required map
segments of the island to be shown in a realistic form, rather than the
traditional planimetric view. The resulting animations were used
to illustrate the geographic location of the island as well as the
marking of several key locations.
